In 2019 Mr. Prashant P. Salgaonkar, Vice President, Human Resource & GA Anchor by Panasonic aims to develop future-ready leaders at all levels along with shaping the learning and development function with modern-day talent management and L& D methodologies.

In order to better evaluate and recognize skills and development of employees at junior management, Anchor takes an initiative called ‘Mini MBA’ by giving a 360-degree view of business, building strong managerial and increase capability of the employees. In this initiative, they will partner with renowned colleges in the city like SIBM, JBIMS and IIM Kozhikode create course content by shortlisting potential participants and begin the program. For constructing internal team capability Anchor also tied up with premier educational institutes like IIT Bombay- this program is majorly organized for senior and middle management. With the rise in companies coming forward and building a culture that supports and empowers women, Anchor significantly believes in women safety, gender equality along with encouraging women empowerment. The percentage of women employees working in the company is higher than the male employees that is 56% and 44%. To continue their support towards women empowerment, Anchor has undertaken several initiatives that help benefit the women employees and those include the following:

  • Awareness sessions on Breast and Cervical cancer
  • Regular training on health and hygiene
  • Sessions on irregular menstrual and general awareness by an experienced doctor
