Panasonic Homes and Living expands its footprint in Gujarat, launches its first premium L-Class Modular Kitchen store in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, 10th May 2019: Panasonic’s Modular Kitchen business started in 1963 in Japan and has grown tremendously over the years providing numerous varieties and layouts of kitchen cabinet, storage and accessories by catering to approximately 6 million consumers in Japan. Panasonic is now set to expand its business into the Indian Modular Kitchen market to meet the rising demand of modular kitchen in India. Panasonic, one of the largest domestic manufacturers of electrical construction materials, housing , diverse electronics technologies and automotive space today announced the launch of its first-ever premium L-Class Modular Kitchen franchise store in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Customers in Gujarat can now visit the 2000sq ft. spread L-Class Modular Kitchen store located at the Maple tree, Near Manichandra Society, Thaltej.

The new store is spacious and offers some of the most innovative products, truly making it a buyer’s paradise. Fashioned while keeping current international trends at the heart of design, the L-class modular kitchen is all about innovation. The range boasts of beautifully crafted design consisting of varied styles for the dining hall for the added attraction. The store gives Indian consumers access to some of the most popular kitchen designs in India. The new range of L-Class kitchen designs are three-storied compartments which have the highest storage capacity than usual models and it is also inserted with surgical grade SS film to prevent dents, stains and maintain overall product appearance. Additionally, the L Class Kitchen model offers an extra 10% storage capacity along with a special feature called “floor stocker”. The model ensures safety through earthquake locking system that protects cabinet’s contents from quakes and helps avoid potential damage. Also, the facility of safety strip and dust resistance helps enrich the overall product life.

Panasonic aims rapid expansion in the Modular Kitchen stores by tapping Tier I and Tier II cities. With the inauguration of Panasonic’s premium franchise store in Ahmedabad, the brand targets to open a franchise and experiential store in Bangalore followed by Mumbai and Hyderabad. Nearly, the aim is to mark its presence across 31 cities by FY2020.
